Bubbenhall Meadows – from Local Geological Site (Wood Farm) to Nature Reserve: the story of how the glacial geology of the area was exploited, conserved and reclaimed. If time allows we will study the building stones of Bubbenhall Church and how they reflect the bedrock geology of the area.
Meet at 6.30pm at the ‘Old School’ layby on the A445 (GR SP363723) opposite the two minor roads down in to Bubbenhall . We will then car share to drive to the Wildlife Trust car park at Bubbenhall Wood.
