DESCRIPTION:Solihull Urban Geology trail led by Ray Pratt. Maximum number of participants 20.  \n\n\n\nWe will explore the geological materials of Touchstone shopping centre and the Core centre. This is so common that many people don’t pay much attention to this collection of lithological specimens\, unwittingly missing the stories all around them. \n\n\n\nAmmonite in Jurassic limestone – Touchstone (left) \n\n\n\n\n\nDunelm Garnet\n\n\n\nMetro Bank Oolite\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nCome along and enjoy the stroll around this small-town centre\, appreciating the choice of materials used by the planners.
