Christmas Social, Wednesday 14th December
Our Christmas meeting will take the, by now, traditional form – a social event with displays of activities undertaken by the Group in 2016. This year we are highlighting the work of the Outreach Group which has been working with schools as well as presenting Warwickshire geology to the public at festivals etc. We shall be able to get a taste of their activities and talk to some of those who have been our ‘face to the world’!
As usual, the Group will provide mulled wine and other drinks free of charge. However, it would be appreciated if you were able to bring a plate of ‘eats’ along. Suggestions would be: quiches, small pork pies, sausage rolls, samosas etc, cheeses, celery / carrot sticks etc., cherry tomatoes, crisps etc., mince pies, small cakes, clementines / satsumas … or anything you think is suitable for a finger buffet!
