The WGCG is running Field trips this summer, the first WGCG geology field trips since 2019. The first to take place was a geo walk around the Lickey Hills on the west side of Birmingham. A write up of this will be available in the forthcoming newsletter. The next meeting was a 4 day residential trip to North Lincolnshire, much enjoyed by those participants. The planned trip to Blockley Quarry for Saturday 31 July 2021 has been postponed to 18 September 2021. A building Stones walk around the city centre of Birmingham is in the planning for late September.
WGCG membership is open to all and is free for those in full-time education.
