WGCG Visit to Warwickshire Museum’s Jurassic Collection

Warwickshire Museum’s collections include many Jurassic fossils collected from local quarries. These are the remains of long-extinct creatures that lived here between 200 and 170 million years ago. Our tour will focus upon a selection of spectacular fossils and the
world that they inhabited – ichthyosaurs and plesiosaurs, dinosaurs and giant ammonites.

The tour will be led by Dr Jon Radley, Curator of Natural Sciences, and will last 60 minutes.

The tour will take place at the Warwickshire Museum Collections Centre, Hawkes Point, Hawkes Drive, Heathcote, CV34 6LX.

Places are very limited so registration is required.
Places will be allocated on a first-come-first served basis.
